Upgrading hard drives on QNAP NAS

I’ve been using a QNAP TS-251 with Plex Media Server since 2014. It has been running two 3TB drives in RAID 0, but I am running out of space. I purchased two 16TB drives to replace them and plan on using RAID 1.

I have all the contents of the current drives backed up in the cloud using iDrive.

I want to know the best way to go about upgrading these drives while preserving my server and library. Is the actual Plex Media Server software stored on one of the drives I’m looking to replace, but in a non-visible folder? I want to make sure I keep all my preferences and cover art for media.

Given this setup, what steps should I take to swap out the drives and copy the content from the cloud back to the upgraded drives?

Install this to find the hidden place
