Adding movies to library

HI there
This may be a very silly question but will give it a shot anyway. I am new to plex. I would like to watch movies. I have added a movies library to my dashboard and scanned it so that all movies on my computer were added to the library. But what about all the other movies that are available out there right now? How do I add the hundreds of movies available online, to my movies library on Plex?

Thank you. So essentially I would need to download the certain movies I want to see on my computer before they show up on Plex. Got it.
