I cannot seem to find the Synology Plex media server app package for my Synology NAS. I cannot find it in the Synology library or the appropriate downloadable package for manual install.

See above post WRT beta for 418 & similar models (added that after first post). Might be restricted to Plex Pass. If it is, you can get a Plex Pass for $4.99 USD / month. If it works, great. If not, cancel and you’re only out $4.99.
Ok, I have Plex running on my Synology NAS. Seems to work. I can and have configured the Plex to look within the NAS for the media dolders…
But it does not find anything.
/Volume1/music should have all of my music
How exactly did you do so?
Do you e.g. have a music library within Plex that has /Volume1/music added to it? (same for movies/tv shows respectively?)
Yes. From within the Plex app, running on the NAS…
Settings / Manage / Libraries / Music / Edit / Add folders / find Folder “Music” on NAS -> save. “There are no items in the library”.
It almost seems to me that Plex isn’t looking in the sub folders of “Music”
I have the plex logs (but sheepishly) can’t find where to upload to this convo.
Plex will look into the subfolders – however depending on your configuration it’ll expect some folder structure it can recognize and match.
