Adding Top-Level "Collections" to Sidebar?

I’ve read of ways to add a collection to the sidebar menu, but I’d like to add the “Collections” top-level to the sidebar, so that it’s on the same level as Movies, TV Shows and Music. Googling takes me to instructions for how to add a discrete collection, but not the top-level.

You cannot add collections to the sidebar — neither individual collections nor a library’s entire set of collections. There’s no consolidated view of (all) collections across libraries.

Looking beyond the sidebar… you can create custom Home Screen hubs by publishing a collection. There’s been a feature suggestion to do the same for sets of collections.
