I would really like to see a plex server video scanning option that would allow users to organize their videos in folders like the photo scanner. My current video collection mirrors my photo collection:
C:\Public\Videos
C:\Public\Videos\2013
C:\Public\Videos\2013\13Jan
C:\Public\Videos\2013\13Jan\Volleyball
DSCN1234.MOV
DSCN1235.MOV
C:\Public\Videos\2013\13Jan\NewYears
DSCN0123.MOV
DSCN0124.MOV
The current scanners do not allow this format. Is there any way to get this done through a 3rd party version or are there any plans from the plex developers to add a function similar to this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
use the "by folders" view in your chosen Plex client.
