I use a Synology DS118 (no native transcoding) along with a HDHomeRun Extend (native transcoding), and when I want to stream OTA TV directly to my phone, it uses the quality set in Plex preferences. Changing this quality to match my current cell phone signal is a PITA, and sometimes I forget to switch the quality back to high when I’m done, so that recordings are still recorded at full quality. It would be fantastic to adjust the Live TV & DVR recording quality on a per session basis directly from the playback in the app. Thank you.
