Well thats unfortunate, I didn’t have a chance to search on the LG TV, didn’t even see discover as a possible pinned option, so I thought that selection was what we were looking for (temporarily)
I’d be all in with a YES. (I’m out of hearts)
Chuck wants you to uninstall the Plex app, then reinstall in order to get the Discover screen up again, allowing you to say no to the feature. However, this WILL delete any of your Home Screen customizations, pinned items already set in the app in its current state, and also wipes any downloaded content in which is already stored on your device.
Good grief, this is just sad.

I really hate that you’re the only person as the punching bag. You don’t deserve this but at the same time this is just insane. All of this was preventable.
There are some things I really like with the overall Discover features. I think what is badly missing are options to account for the different ways people are using Plex.
I think we need different options to disable the Discover section completely, remove the “More Ways To Watch” section in the search results, etc.
I would say “get them to add a toggle to turn discover completely off at the account level”, but otherwise YES

Correct, a full disable at the account level. The same option available for online sources, basically.
There was a massive breach of trust by Plex when they enabled this for all users, added an aggressive splashscreen that allowed no actual option to disable it, promoted it across media, then when there were problems started saying “it’s just a beta” in the forums. And that’s before it started showing porn.
(I’m aware this is not your fault, and I second the person who said that you shouldn’t be the punching bag on this)

i for one want to keep testing and finding stuff like this. lol. but that’s just me. account level disable would be awesome it sounds like.

Ok thats some horseshit.
Lets look at the reality here - over 600 votes already from another thread in feature requests.
Lets not downplay it, Discover pissed off A LOT of people, and there are issues being found constantly.
Discover should never have been pushed the way it did. Roll it back, enable for experimental. Yes, OVER 600 VOTES.
