Can someone please tell me what’s going on here? Am I missing something about how filtering works?
I have lots of music videos that have text in parentheses as part of the filenames:
for example:
Dancing Queen (In Concert) - ABBA
Hole In Your Soul (In Concert) - ABBA
Knowing Me, Knowing You (The Videos) - ABBA
When I Kissed The Teacher (The Videos) - ABBA
Don’t Shut Me Down (lyric video) - ABBA
Just A Notion (lyric video) - ABBA
I am trying to filter them using Advanced Filters > Title contains.
Note, I am not actually entering the square brackets, they’re just for clarification.
Here’s what happens:
entering [concert] will return all titles containing (In Concert).
but
entering [in concert] will only return titles with [concert] in the parentheses and [in] as part of the song name eg: Hole In Your Soul (In Concert).
entering [videos] will return all titles containing (The Videos).
but
entering [the videos] will only return titles with [videos] in the parentheses and [the] as part of the song name eg: When I Kissed The Teacher (The Videos).
entering [lyric] returns no titles at all.
