Advertise as Server not working

Hey team, I’m trying to access Downloaded content from one device on other using the Sharing | ‘Advertise as Server’ (Android) and Sharing | ‘Synced Content’ functions. Regardless of whether I share from my iPhone 11 or Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, it doesn’t work. All that happens is you see the device in the list of available servers but it has no categories/content under it (and often shows as ‘Offline’). Does this feature work anymore or is it pseudo-deprecated?

Can I cast/fling downloaded content to another Plex client or through Chromecast?

Casting or flinging downloaded content to another device is currently not supported.

Ok thanks, it references it in (this article), but the reference to “Mobile Sync” makes me think the feature stopped working when they moved to the “Download” model. Would be nice if they removed the option in the apps if it’s no longer officially supported. Cheers.
