Advice on best program to rip audio CD's for playing with Plex

Hi there,

I was after some advice, could anyone recommend the best audio program (windows 7) to rip CD's to play within plex ?. I've used MakeMKV for DVD's which is great and I'm looking to get the best quality , not really concerned on file sizes just best program / format to use for playback on an ipad via plex or tv etc.

Any advice would be great though, thanks :-)

There is no such thing.

It all depends on your preferences.

If you are a bit technical, and want the best possible rip in terms of 'least errors' then go for exactaudiocopy.

No probs, that sounds ideal though. I'll check it out. Thanks for the info, appreciate it :-)

I tried to download Exact Audio Copy for half an hour. The URL listed above took me to a site crawling with ads, clickbait, and lots of other garbage. I tried clicking on three different buttons which looked like they were for downloading EAC and each one took me to a different program, for driver updates, free forms, etc. The language of the program is German, so It’s impossible to tell what you are agreeing to no matter what you click on. The description of EAC sounds like it would be very useful but the download process is user predatory, not user friendly.

The language is not necessarily german. I think it depends on the language of your Windows installation.
If you have trouble downloading it, go here http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.php/weitere-seiten/download-from-alternative-servers-2/
