Happed to me also. You need to make sure you have the most current Plex client on your Shield TV. It should update automatically.
You can tell that it’s been updated if, when you’re in setting on your Plex app on Shield, the option to setup the Plex Media Server is NOT on the top of the setting list. The updated version has it in the middle of the settings list by itself.
