Searching in the forums reveals SO MANY blown off requests for the ability to delete unwanted posters.
Mine has somehow become infested with a single picture, of which I have no clue where it came from.
I would super love the ability, when editing posters, to be able to delete irrelevant posters.
Apparently, so would lots of other people who have made the same request over the years.
Can we PLEASE get this feature???
I have a similar problem. For some unknown and seemingly random reason, when adding new episodes to my library, some get stuck with episode-posters from the same selection of 4-5 posters from a different show. It’s the same 4-5 posters every time.
I can only assume something went wrong when adding that “other” show that resulted in its posters becoming default somehow. Performing the Plex-dance has not removed them.
It drives me insane.
Simple request to be able to delete movie posters. Hopefully, from inside plex.
I cannot tell you how much I would like this feature. Video hounds like myself tend to be a tad OCD about their libraries so seeing a bunch of unwanted poster (and background, etc.) art there is just annoying. Also there is the space they take up. We keep hearing that art assets do not take up that much space, but when you have over 1000 movies and TV series on your NAS, those “small” files add up pretty quickly.
Pleas, Plex! You have an awesome service. This one feature may not seem like much, but would be appreciated immensely!
