Sometimes in my zeal to customize my Plex, I download posters from Thetvdb.com and save them into the Season folders, then I click on the pencil to edit the Season info and go to poster on the left in the edit dialog.Some nights I forget to change to the correct Season and end up with Season 2 posters in Season 3.
Here’s the feature request. A right click menu item “delete poster” so I can highlight the poster that I added by mistake and delete it.

@BigWheel OP does not state that he wants no poster, just that he wants to remove the wrong poster from the poster page in the edit dialog screen. I agree with him, it would be nice to deleted wrong posters from the edit screen.
It’s my OCD. I prefer things to be perfect and knowing I have seasons with the wrong season posters in them tweaks me up. I only want to remove the incorrect posters leaving the right ones in place.
Sometimes posters for the wrong movie or show let alone season ends up attached. It would be nice to be able to purge the offending posters. Another scenario occurs with manually managed shows (think shows based on XBMC NFO files) where if you reconfigure a season, old posters that are not applicable will be used with new video. This means you need to manually set the poster. But that’s a work around for a poor behavior that when I select to delete a show or episode, PMS doesn’t delete everything (files or cached images).
In the screenshot below, there are three apparently identical images of Beethoven. Of those 3, can you tell me which one is the 300x300 image from an online source, which is a 500x500 image from another online source, and which is the 1200x1200 scan on my local drive?
Wholly agree with the ability to DELETE wrong posters/album covers. Quite of few of mine are no longer even on my computer yet they show up in my Plex web “edit” library screen They just need to go away. If you won’t provide us a way to select/delete them, how about when we “choose an image”, it asks if we want to REPLACE what’s already there with the new image?

Better yet, give us the ability to purge all unused posters and prevent the automatic downloading of additional posters. When you have hundreds of full season TV shows and thousands of movies, the amount of space wasted on unused posters is ridiculous.
Yup…Would love the ability to remove any unwanted poster art, for may different reasons… Added wrong one by mistake - Multiple versions of the same image - Just don’t want any other posters there other than the one / ones I want… I could keep listing a whole host more reasons why I might want to manually delete specific posters and banners!

for collections and the pertaining movies.
In each case they are buried underneath the plethora of low res stuff that Plex provides.
Not that I intend to go back there Emby was fantastic in this respect.
