Did something change recently in the updates for the player on Android TV. I’m asking because for a year I’d go and play recordings from the homepage and when done I hit the back button a few times and it would jump back to the homepage .
Lately that’s not what happens. I hit the back button and it goes to the sixth item in the sidebar five below the homepage. Which in my case is live TV and DVR. It’s just a little annoying it didn’t used to be this way.
Once you restart it back at the home page and you go through the process it goes back to the home page for a while until you play a recording and then it does it all over again. It’s got me wondering , if somehow I’m hitting the left arrow button instead of the back button but I never do because I’m sitting there with a bunch of episodes and if I hit the left arrow button I’d be going to the lower episodes. Seems like something changed or a new little glitches showed up.
Yeah, even my thread was a dupe of an earlier report by @anon5074910. The easiest way to reproduce this is by clicking left right after first opening Plex.
It seems to have started from version 8.28. There’s even a bugfix note about navigation in the update. I don’t know what they were trying to fix, because I thought it was fine before.
People in the beta thread said that it wasn’t present in 8.29, but everyone in this thread seems to still see it.
