I have seen requests for Disc titles to be enabled in Music libraries, which I wholeheartedly support, but I would like to add a request to enable artwork by Disc.
Currently a single cover.jpg or folder.jpg etc in the album folder will be used as the artwork for that entire album, but I have several multi disc albums that actually have different artwork for each disc of the set. Sometimes only slight variations, sometimes completely different, but by however much, they are different.
I would like to see Plex looking for e.g. cover1.jpg, cover2.jpg etc and applying that to each disc as appropriate as well as using cover.jpg (or equivalent) to represent the whole disc set as now.
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to have artwork for the album as well as individual discs. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
