Very likely.
When did you start the analysis?
How many albums/songs do you have in your collection?
What kind of CPU is in your Plex server?
Did you enable sonic analysis in both places (server settings and library properties)?
When you look at this particular album in the web app, do you see any “Sonically Similar Albums” listed at the bottom?
Did you actually let the album play until its end?
Or did you just take a look at the Up Next tab in Plexamp? Because the next album won’t appear there until the current album has been played almost comnpletely.
I think there might be some misunderstanding here. Album radio will play the album in its entirety, followed by sonically similar albums in their entirety.
The way it seems to work for me: the radio button plays the whole album–but the “up next” queue doesn’t seem to be generated all at once. I enabled it for an album, and the queue I saw was that album, plus two tracks from another album that does make sense sonically. If I skip ahead to one of those tracks, the whole rest of the album populates in the queue with a few tracks from yet another album. And so on. Which makes sense as I don’t really see the point of generating an infinite queue all at once.
