I like to play my plex’d music over my Amazon alexa’s. Each time I open the plex skill, plex says ‘Welcome back to Plex’. That’s great. But she then goes on to suggest how I might use the service. That’s not so good, as I have to wait until she’s finished before I can ask her to play my songs. Is there a way to cut down on the chat? I know I can ‘ask plex to shuffle my playlist relaxings songs’, but that just pops alexa’s cloggs and she tells me she doesn’t understand - it’s better to fire up Plex - but that helpful message is getting very old.
Agreed. I hate that lengthy message too. Allow us to configure it or just stop doing it automatically after so many times and assume the user knows what to do by now.

What do you mean with “open the skill”. If you say "Alexa ask plex … " or “Alexa tell plex to …” all commands are immediately executed. at least thats how its working for me. i never specifically “open the skill”
