Using the Plex skill with Alexa is not working well. To start it I need to give separate commands: “open plex” wait for Alexa response “Alexa play playlist xxxxxx” wait for playlist to start “Alexa set shuffle mode on”. This begins to work for a few songs, but then the playlist stops playing, or if any Alexa command is given during playback, the playback stops and does not continue. If a phone call comes into the house during playback, it also stops and must be restarted using the sequence above. I am getting very used to the first few songs in every playlist, but never get to hear the rest.
I’m in the same boat. Used to work perfectly, over the last few months I’ve run into the same issue. Plays 1-3 songs then stops. Some of my playlists won’t play at all. Using the App on my iPhone plays fine or the media server on my Win10 machine also works, but streaming through Alexa/Amazon just doesn’t work anymore.
