Alexa skill can no longer communicate with my server

Here’s the story. I’m looking for a way to play my music via Amazon Alexa (we have a Dot, version 2 I think).

Set up the server on Sunday on an Ubuntu 18.04 VM in a Docker container. Server has been working flawlessly (and without interruption) since then.

I have been able to log in and stream music via the browser at work. This works very well.

Amazon Alexa, however, is not working. It did not work Monday. It worked Tuesday, but has not worked since (today is Thursday). I have gotten a mixture of error messages: “Uh oh, something went wrong” and “I am unable to access your Plex skill right now”.

Yesterday evening, I followed some instructions on this forum which suggested unlinking, then relinking the account. I did that, and ever since then Alexa has been complaining that “User has no available servers” - this despite the fact that I spent all day streaming music at work.

Does anyone know how to get the skill working? Failing that, does anyone know where I can look in the error logs? Alexa’s error messages are worse than useless and when I download the logs there are simply too many files & I don’t know where to start looking.
