Amazon Echo / Alexa skill not working responds credentials error despite successful link

Suddenly today the Plex skill started erroring when opened saying “Uh oh there was a problem with your Plex credentials”. I’ve obviously tried disabling/enabling. I even logged in with a “different user” to ensure my Plex credentials were ok. It all links up fine however the error when I ask “Alexa open Plex” still persists.

I am having the same problem as OP. Started today, no problems before.

Server Version = 1.32.4.7195
Problem is on all devices using Alexa Skill that is up to date.

Have successfully relinked the plex account to the Alexa app on my phone and when I try to play music via plex I receive the same error message as OP.

May be related to the latest Plex Server update since I installed that update today.

Same here. UK Based. Has been working fine for years. Zero changes made prior to error starting from today. Re-linking in Alexa iOS app makes no difference - exactly as OP advises.

Just to join the crowd, mine has also stopped since last night. Latest version of everything.

Mine started working again this morning after relinking Plex via the Alexa app. No idea what was wrong last night, but mine is working now.

I also have been utilizing the Alexa app to stream music all over my house for many years and find the app a great way to access my Plex music library.

This should be working again, as of a couple of hours ago. It was an unintended side-effect of some security hardening the team was doing. Apologies for the inconvenience.
