Alexa has just been released in France.
Would it be possible to release an Alexa Skill on french amazon alexa skills store ?
It is not possible to just install it from amazon.com or amazon.co.uk due to restrictions.

We’re currently in a closed-beta with a few Germans to finish building out our localization capabilities. After we complete this work we’ll be working on additional languages. When we have something to announce we’ll let all of you know.

Our skill is quite a bit more complicated than your average skill. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere we’re currently in a closed-beta with some German users to work on localizing the skill. We’re hoping to identify the pain points in this stage so as we start to roll out to more languages we can better utilize the translations. When we have more to announce you’ll hear from us somewhere here in the forums first.
If needed I have a Plex server and Alexa and i’m based in France so don’t hesitate if you need beta-testers or help to translate skill.

Same here, when needed , available to help for translation and to test the feature. Having Plex Server, Chromecast /Ipad/ Apple tv player, Echo and Echo Spot at home 
Have apple tv too and launching movies from alexa on apple tv is kind of funny thing you use one time. By the way, have you trouble getting french accent media hard to be found by alexa ?
