Alexa has just been released in Spain, and soon will be available is other Spanish-speaking countries.
It would be great if the English skill was translated to Spanish and released on spanish amazon alexa skills store.

Hi, I’m in Spain and I have my Echo Dot in Spain.
Unfortunately, Plex Skill is not available for Alexa Skill Store in Spain. alexa.amazon.es

How could I access to the beta Plex Skill for Alexa? any help?

If skills are easily translated to other languages, as many developers say, is there any additional problem with the Spanish one?

Can’t we collaborate with the translation of the skill?like github or transifex style.
I dont think it’s right to be paying the pass and haven`t the skill available. When the community is really aware of the skill in Spanish and we want to collaborate!

As I have just said in the other thread, I don’t know where the problem is. I did the translation of the “rival” skill (“MM4A”) into Spanish, and it took me less than a day to translate the sentences, and it took the developer less than 1 hour to include them into the skill and to have a fully working beta test skill.

I will wait a little bit more, in other case I will move to MM4A that was an alternative when I choose plex for my english echo.

Anyway, although MM4A is working fine in Spanish (and you also need a yearly subscription of at least 5$), since version 1.3.122 they have not done any update, and no much movement exist in their forum. I don’t know if they have “more or less discontinued” their work.

If you don’t plan to release the skill maybe you can make the code opensource and leave the users the opportunity to finish the translation job.
