Two months ago was made the launch of the Alexa in Spanish / Italian. At the moment it is in Beta phase but some user has access to the skills. It would be great if the English skill was translated.

I just got my Eco dot here on Spain. Cant find the Plex skill on the Amazon Alexa skills.
Got by the moment hue lights working and another skills.
Can I get access even to the beta? I would love to help. I use Plex a lot every week. My PMS is installed on an unraid docker.

Amazon has just released Alexa in Spain (final release, not beta), so the Plex Spanish community will ask for this Plex Skill to be translated and offered through Alexa Skills Spanish Repository.
Do you have a release date for it?

Same situation here in Italy. I wrote a twit to Plex. They want to expand the skill but no ETA. Hope to see it soon!
In fact, if the english version is programmed for multi-language, the change to other language is very directly. Only it exists some limitations in the “Alexa language”, not in all language has predifined the artists names, and it can requires bigger changes in the original code.
I need plex for alexa, too!!! I love plex, I use it everyday… I need manage it with my new friend Alexa

I don’t know where the problem is. I did the translation of the “rival” skill (“MM4A”) into Spanish, and it took me less than a day to translate the sentences, and it took the developer less than 1 hour to include them into the skill and to have a fully working beta test skill.

Ok, one year later we’re still waiting for this translation. Please, can someone of the plex staff give an explanation about this? Based on the plex newscerpts it seems that you are only worried about Tidal integration and you’ve left Plex development and alexa support abandoned. I think we deserve at least a compromise for a release date.
Any update? Months and months and no news… Remember that we can help you with translations.
