Hi all new to Plex
My question is this, on my WD Cloud I have Plex folder in that, I have my films folder ,in that I have folders for trilogies, and single films, but when I open Plex the trilogies are all over the place ,for example the Jason Bourne films are not all together ( but they are together in a folder) is it possible to correct this.? and if so how but please explain fully as I am retired old man so not that technical.
My equipment is WD Cloud, Apple iPhone,iPad.and Mac.
Any help would be much appreciated Dell

It really boils down to how well you organized and named your files. If you Sonnar/Radarr for renaming, it’s pretty good and plex is good about picking it up. Have you checked out filebot?

Plex will not pick up the folder organisation on your disk.

Until the next server version is released, you can use the ‘Sort Title’ to keep connected movies together.
Example: Edit the ‘The Bourne Identity’ movie and change the content of the ‘Sort Title’ field to ‘Bourne 2002’
(using the release year is usually easier)
Then repeat the procedure with
‘The Bourne Supremacy’ --> ‘Bourne 2004’
‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ --> ‘Bourne 2007’
‘Jason Bourne’ --> ‘Bourne 2016’

Now all Bourne movies will at least be shown together in the list under ‘B’

With the next software release, you will be able to use the ‘Collections’ feature.

Using the Sort Title Field - and clever library creation, if necessary - it’s a snap.

My ‘Sci-Fi Sets’ Library (for instance):

All my sets in a row - one after the other listed by their date, not their name:

Enough of the Title to get them all together, then the Year - 'cause it’s right there on that page you’re working on - and is typically unique (if two movies release the same year - rare - add the month).

Thanks for all the suggestions,
I found using the suggestion using the year film was made did the trick.
Still learning as my old media player was just a hard drive with media player and it was a pain adding films to it,but now the new one is networked it’s easy.
