The last stable server version was 1.28.2.6151. When I upgraded to 1.29.1.6316, I noticed that all of my music albums were displaying a release date of 1984. When I checked the information for an album, that release date information was also changed to 1984. I also noticed that I was locked out of the server settings area. I reverted back to 1.28.2.6151 using Time Machine. I was able to access server settings. Release dates were all 1984. I took a couple of months to manually add release dates and lock them in the process. However, release dates display as 1984. I’m afraid to do another server upgrade for fear that I will be locked out again. I have tried doing metadata updates with no luck. Any thoughts?
Probably not related to the server release you were updating to.
I suspect there’s something else wrong with your setup, possibly some database corruption. Your server logs should give some hint if that’s the case or what else might be wrong.
