Most of the video content stored on my Plex server is organized by folder and file name, not by date nor by metadata. When using the Web and Phone versions of the plex client apps, I can easily browse this content, because I can browse by folder when using those client apps.
However, on the Playstation apps for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, the option to browse by folder is completely missing. This actually prevents me from being able to see most of the content which is stored on my server. I literally have no way of selecting certain videos unless I can navigate to their folder. The videos do not show up in the screens which list the videos by their date stamp.
I purchased a Plex Pass Lifetime Subscription for the sole purpose of being able to use these PS3 and PS4 apps. But without a browse-by-folder option, these apps are mostly useless to me.
Please add browsing by folder to the PS3 and PS4 client applications.
