A friend who has access to my server was attempting to download a movie for offline play, which is fine - but the issue we’re running into is I’ve got my 4K and normal movies merged and when selecting download, Plex defaults to the 4K copy regardless of what the client is actually capable of resulting in a massive file that can’t be played on that device. I reproduced this myself on my PC which is only capable of 1080p.
It would be great if you could choose which version is downloaded. I’ve found no way of being able to do this currently.
