Hello here I have to go on vacation and I’m going to leave with 2 computers and Plex on it.
One pc is close to 4K and the other is just one pc at 1080p
The problem is that I have a lot of movies in both formats and that Plex downloads me movies in 4k by default.
Knowing that I have a 4K folder and an HD Movie folder
Can we define on a Plex client not to download or use movies in 1080p by default?
And I don’t want to go through the hassle of converting a 4K movie to 1080p
No. Downloads does not handle having multiple versions. It will default to downloading whatever is listed first in the xml info for that video.
