I never understood why under Manual Server we can only input IP addresses and ports.
Many users use DDNS and it would be great if we were able to specify out custom DDNS names under Manual Server fields. This would accommodate both scenarios, local and remote access from Plex devices/app to out own PMS servers. IP address may change but DDNS names would not and this would be great if we had this functionality.
This appears to be working on some clients but not iOS.
If your request is about that client you might want to vote/comment in the dedicated suggestion in order to avoid distracting votes (though you seem not to have voted for your own suggestion here).
