I recently installed a plex media server for OTA digital TV service. The antennas are located in a deep fringe area between multiple markets. I’m receiving 90 channels from 4 markets, to be precise. Plex server only lets me enter in 1 zip code to download a channel guide.
I ended up using zap2xml to build a custom channel guide to support multiple markets.
It’s a lot of fiddling for something that seems would be pretty easy to add as an automated feature since plex will already download 1 guide.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
