Although Plex does not support manually adding actors to the cast, we still have ways to add cast information to some videos that are not movies, including adding cast to home videos, which make search and manage videos more efficiently.
But “Other Videos” do not support showing the cast, because these videos don’t have posters or covers, I wanted to display them in horizontal view instead of vertical posters.
Currently only “TV Series” or “Movies” can show the cast members, but you can not change the display mode, I would like to ask for a display mode option to choose from horizontal or vertical image display for the library.
Or allow all libraries to display the cast and other information when it is available, just don’t hide the cast information for other agents.
