Allow people to join a Watch Together session without an account

It’d be nice if I could send a link or a code to friends so we could all watch something without having to walk them thru setting up a plex account / getting them logged into my account as a managed user. I’m imagining something like this:

where when you click the link icon it gives you a link and the option to add another guest.

Plex have already rejected a similar suggestion asking for an option to share media to users without accounts. While your suggestion is aiming at a closer use case it touches the same aspects.

I’m sorry we have no current plans to add this to roadmap anytime, as Plex is not a file sharing app, and as such am closing this topic so your votes can be returned to vote on something else.
