Allow scanning of a singular folder within library, that’s it, simple & clean. My plex server is HUUUGE like everybody else’s, I know I haven’t made any changes to the library outside of the one folder I did make a change to, but I have to scan the entire library for that change to be made in the servers config and metadata to update showing a new piece of content has been added which takes 10 minutes for what could literally take 30 seconds, every time.
You might want to look at the option to trigger a partial library scan using URL commands.

Yeah I’ll take a look at it but all I’m saying I want is a one to two click button that does this rather than needing to read xml and type in ip addresses/directories.
I’m not disputing your suggestion – just pointing out you can already use it, though not as user friendly as you’d like it to be.
