Discover is a great feature, especially for anyone who wants to make Plex their hub for all things media. However, there are some of us that don’t use our Admin account for general access and playback (given that some content may not be appropriate for all viewers in a home).
Allowing streaming service discovery (and the media therein) would allow these managed accounts to have access to search, select, and initiate playback.
Perhaps, similar to how libraries are managed today for managed accounts, a user could select “discovery” or “streaming services” to be added (or not) to a given managed account.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
