My Daughter has been enabled to allow her to upload pictures to my Plex. I have created a unique folder that they can upload them to. But, I am wondering. Is it possible to her to create a subfolder under this so that she can store photos chronologically. And then update Plex so they become active images? Also, if she updates a photograph that needs to be rotated, can she do that. I fact is there any method for me as the administrator to do that or at least edit the images in some form or another?
Sadly the photo upload feature had been discontinued earlier this year. I just noticed it’s still mentioned in the users & sharing restriction options.
Plex doesn’t support other users than the admin to do library updates.
Then why does Plex User Update allow me to enable uploads?
Probably an oversight.
