Alpha testing closed discussion forum

Seeing as we are basically paying to be Alpha testers would it perhaps be an idea that Plex devs create a closed alpha section on forum/discord or similar where we can leave feedback on errors etc and devs can give us a roadmap, request logs etc to help fix issues and this can generally be discussed openly? It currently feels like we are being used to alpha test but there is no information coming back to us as testers from the Plex devs. any other Alpha/eta testing ive been involved in there are normally constant updates from the devs as to flight status, roadmaps, code changes etc and bugfix lists for each new version we are given. Perhaps there needs to be a new update path setup in Plex too. public/beta/arcade??? I’m happy to spend my time testing Plex Arcade but dont like being stonewalled by Plex for my contributions

i’m sorry you feel that way, can you be more specific? we’re trying to actively respond to people in here, and we have a new release with a bunch of fixes and improvements making its way through QA as we speak.

it just seems like no-one from plex is informing us of any progress on the development of Arcade. you say you have a new release with a load of fixes on its way but no mention of it, what the fixes are and when you expect to release it to test. when people are making suggestions for changes or advising of things that need attention or fixing there is no roadmap of when these will be looked at or a timeline of what you are focussing on and trying to resolve. I appreciate that you dont want the whole discussion public as it would delay your devs from actually working on the issues etc but if there was a closed group to discuss with people that are early adopters (Alpha testers) it would just be much better customer relations.

this is supposed to be that (open) forum for discussion
