Alphabet letters missing from side bar Mac OS

Hey guys. I’m currently running Plex on my Macbook Pro Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 and some of the alphabet letters are missing on the side bar. If I zoom out using the chrome settings they appear but I have to zoom out so much that it makes the font very tiny. Is there any way to all the letters without making the font so small. This is a real bummer and can get pretty frustrating pretty quickly. Thanks a lot for any help you guys can provide.

I really hope Plex reads this and offers some support or updates as this really stinks!

Would you mind sharing a screenshot with the alphabet index (a) missing stuff and (b) zoomed out so it appears?
With what exact app (+ version) are you experiencing this?

The version I’m using is 1.27.2.5929. The first screen shot is at 100% zoom and the 2nd is at 67% zoom. I have to use 67% in order for all the letters to appear.

Are you using the web app or Plex for Mac?
If you’re using the web app… are you using the hosted web app or the one bundled with your server (using its local IP address)?
If you’re using Plex for Mac… what version of that app do you have installed?

Do you experience the same issue if using the hosted version (https://app.plex.tv/desktop)?
There’s usually no need to use the bundled version unless you’re initially setting up your server. The bundled version will always lag behind a bit as it’s not updated as frequently as the hosted version (e.g. because the hosted web app doesn’t depend on a server update).

I do seem to experience the same issue when I click on the link you provided… I’m a little bit older so not the most tech savy person. I appreciate the help resolving the issue.

I’m able to reproduce this on my end.
It seems to be part of how Plex handles the layout dynamically based on the browser window size. If you further reduce its height, you’ll notice that more and more letters will be “dropped”. If you have a chance to increase the window height, you should see them reappearing – basically that’s what you experience by zooming out when Plex can squeeze more index letters on your screen.

I suppose that’s not so much a bug but Plex’ way of dealing with limited space / screen estate.
