While using the latest version of Plex (HTPC) I noticed that the alphabets that are to the far right for selecting movies do not contain all of the alphabets although I have movies under that alphabet …ie no Q - i have movie Queen of the Dammed. ie no E - I have movie Eagle Eye… and on and on.
The same issue exist in the Music section as well. Thank you
Some letters are left out. Usually those with the least number of items under them.
Apparently for lack of space.
There are only 18 of the alphabets used under all of the categories. I would seem ironic that the same would be missing from all three areas. I have several movies under each category.
Could you make a screen shot (which covers the whole height)?
Here is the screen shot. I have movies and music in all alphabet slots. Screen is same for music
Thanks
Yes, it’s a space issue. It is supposed to be that way.
Well thank you but it makes no sense - in the computer mode it shows all the alphabet but when you switch to TV full screen is when it happens. Why these particular alphabets?

I cannot tell how the letters get selected.
I only know that the ‘windowed’ mode is made for users who sit directly on their computer. So the text size can be smaller.
The ‘TV’ or ‘full screen mode’ is intended as a ‘10-foot user interface’ - meaning the size of the elements and text is made larger, so it is legible when sitting on the couch, 10 foot away from the screen.
So if the text size is larger, you can fit less letters at once.
