I use Plex primarily for music, and aside from Plex Web, I find the “quick jump alphabet” option (or whatever the official name is) to be very difficult to use. I have Plex on my Roku(s), my iPhone5s (iOS 9.2) and my iPad2 (iOS 9.2). The apple devices are so difficult to use, I have to use my pinky finger, and hit it just right, before whatever I hit turns into Plex’s “branded orange” circle.
I have some very substantial libraries, and Plex handles them just fine. It isn’t really an option to scroll through the pages manually, it just takes way too long. I take advantage of all the Plex Pass features and always look forward to announcements and updates.
I think a slider (of sorts) that dims the artist artwork and shows you the same “orange circle” would be easier to control, and easier to get to the letter you want, in a more efficient and attractive manner.
