In Plexamp, only the Artist list has an alphabetical shortcut slider (e.g. a list of letters on the right side, allowing you to quickly jump to a letter in the list). It would be very helpful to have a comparable slider for other views that are shown in alphabetical order - specifically, this is critical for the Record Label, Genre and Style views.
These views can easily have thousands of entries, and the only way to view the contents of these entries is by browsing (e.g. you can only view the albums in the “Rap” genre by browsing from the Genre list - these are not accessible via search). The Label, Genre, etc. lists are fantastic features of Plexamp but are basically unusable if you have to endlessly scroll back and forth to find the “J’s” just to see a list of Jazz albums.
It makes sense to have alphabetical shortcut sliders for any list that is in alphabetical order, but if implementing these is costly - Record Label, Genre, and Style are probably the most critical, since these have the most entries and are not easily accessible via other methods.
