I am trying to use Plex to stream my music now that Google has forced users to garbage YTM from Google Play Music. One feature I can’t find in Plex is how to sort songs in a music playlist alphabetically. Before upgrading to Plexamp, I’d like to know if this feature is available?

Smart playlists (i.e. playlists based on a set of filters) are inheriting the sorting which was active when they were created.
This is a big hurdle for me as well. I have been trying to transfer all my ancient winamp playlists over to Plexamp for a while now. Its extremely hard to verify tracks when you cannot sort them into an order that can be used to check for missing tracks side to side. I have been manually sorting playlists but that takes literally hours dragging them up and down, and I have found a bug that makes it impossible to sort lists over 300 or so unless you drag the track all the way to the top and then down to where you want it. I have a feeling this bug is the way the code was written and might go hand in hand with the reason a sort by feature is not in there now. I have also used the web tool to download M3U8 files from my Plex server and dump them into a spreadsheet to compare with winamp M3U8 files side by side, but again, this takes a ton of time. I keep hoping for this to get fixed.
