Is possible in Plex Media Server and Plexamp sort tracks by artist or title inside a playlist?
For a standard playlist, you can only manually drag/drop tracks to put them in the order you want. There are no sorting features.
In Smart playlists, whatever sorting was in force when you created the playlist is how the playlist will be sorted. The only way to change the sort order is to edit the filters for the playlist, change the sort order, then update the playlist.
In either case, I don’t believe you can change the sorting from Plexamp. It must be done via Plex Web, or maybe the Plex for Windows app.
Not currently. But we’d like to offer “live sorting” playlists in the future as it’s a useful feature.
Thanks for your reply @beckfield. So there isn’t a method for find duplicate tracks in standard playlist. It’s right? I’m not a lot happy to know than in Plexamp isn’t possible sort by artist or title tracks.

I would also like a sorting feature. I know that Plexamp is designed a little different more for doing temporary playlists. It would really be nice to have the option to download individual songs and be able to sort that list so you would know what was actually in there and have a set of downloaded songs on my device. I use Prism music along with Plexamp. I would like to just use Plex but prism music allows me to go through and select songs so I have my favorite songs on my phone downloaded and I can add and delete from my list. Basically I would just like to be able to download what songs I like and keep that set on my phone to be able to edit it. Sometimes I’m not able to have Internet access so keeping music on my phone is kind of a must. I’ve seen a lot of people have requests similar to this. I’m just migrated everything over to Plex and this is kind of the last thing that I haven’t yet
