Is there any possibility to use alternate names for movies / TV shows so Plex would allow searching by multiple names and still find the same result?
I mean I like to have my stuff using english naming, but I might want to add also alternate names
in my native language for family members that doesn’t speak English.
For example if I’d have a movie named “Movie” in English, I’d like to add also “Film” in Gernam, so the search would then return it regardless of which one of those I search for.
If not possible in any way it could be a cool feature for agents, as e.g. TheMovieDB contains names in multiple languages, so you can possibly configure the languages in which to get the metadata.
The only way I’m currently able to think of is actually creation the same library with different language setting and sharing them with different family members, but this would needlessly complicate the structure of the libraries, multiply the database size, and do the media analysis again to detect intros.
