I’ve been having an issue that is currently appearing for me using the Amazon Fire TV stick when accessing my Plex server remotely.
I bought a second stick recently in case it was because my existing was old. But unfortunately getting the same result. My Plex server is up to date with the latest version and so is the fire tv and associated Plex app.
Basically I’ve had no problem for the last year or two with accessing my Plex server remotely using the fire stick.
Then over the last few weeks/month, I am not able to consistently stream content. After a random amount of time (usually 3-6 mins) the playback pauses and I get the message that the server connection is not fast enough for playback… even though I’m in a high speed network on both ends. Also if I connect to a mates Plex server I get no problems whatsoever.
Any thoughts, as I’ve checked all settings etc . I use it whilst travelling and finding it infuriating…
Any help I’ll be grateful for.
