I’ve been reading more and more posts, about the new line of AMD APUs will hardware transcode on windows, but how about on UnRaid? Is there support for that yet?
AMD at this point is starting to look like the superior choise for a server, with it’s affordability, ECC support on all processors, and with the APUs you’ll get hardware accelerated transcoding, while having enough CPU power and cores to software encode in a different docker.
If not possible, is there any plans on making developments towards supporting AMD better? They are the better CPU/APU at this point.
