An error occurred displaying the current photo

Player Version#: 5.49.2

Hi! Lately I’m always getting this error “An error occurred displaying the current photo.” when trying to open any photo from my library in my Plex for Samsung TV app. The photos load just fine on the web and mobile versions. I tried stopping and restarting the server; no luck. It is the first time I’m experiencing this issue. Help, thank you!

I am experiencing the same issue.
Plex Server version 1.29.2.6364
Client version 5.49.2 on a Samsung Tizen TV from 2020
TV on the same network as the Plex media Server

Films and music play just fine
All media play fine in all other clients like:

  • macOS client
  • iPhone/iPad client
  • Web version
  • Remote clients

Same problem on Samsung, just started happening out of the blue. Was working only a few hours previously. Everything plays fine on any other platform.

Version 1.29.2.6364-7000 installed and the issues was solved.
