A day after installing my plex server, (noted that on the first day everything was going great) I have a very big problem that prevents me from reading my films from my TV. From time to time (even very often) when I launch one of my movies I get this error message:
An error occurred while trying to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.
I am sometimes forced to force several dozen times before the movie finally launches, and let’s not talk about the automatic playback between episodes that just doesn’t work and shows me the same error.
I already tested on another plex server it works well.
I also try to read the same movie on a plex client on my computer and it works fine.
The plex client of my tv is installed on a xiaomi mi box s.
The plex server is up to date and is hosted on a oneprovider server.
I would also like to point out that everything worked very well and that in the meantime.
I didn’t make any changes.
Server config:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1220 - 3.1 GHz - 4 core(s)
RAM: 8GB - DDR3
STORAGE: 2x 1TB (HDD SATA)
BANDWIDTH: 1Gbps
OS: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (The Bionic Beaver), 64 bits
