I have added my all my AudioBooks as a Music Library and they display fine after a fashion… The only thing I would like to ask, is that is there a way for me to pause/stop the book and then later resume at a later date/time from where I left off. At the moment when I return to the AudioBook, it starts from the beginning again and I’ve forgotten at what point I left it.
I’m sorry if this post was answered somewhere else but please believe me I have searched the forum and all I find is that maybe the developers will be coming up with something in the future. Is there a possible work around until then?
There is a setting in the advanced section of a “music” library called “Store track progress.” Check that and you will have the “resume” feature on most clients.
Since I do not use Plex for audio, I like MediaMonkey better, I have only tested on my Rokus but it does work well on those and I understand it also works on most other clients as well.
In addition to Elijah’s comments, you should also be aware that the new “Store track progress” only applies to the current track. If your audiobook is in a single mp3 file, this is great. But if your book is in multiple files, Plex will remember where its place in the file, but you will have to remember which file.
