An option to make the scrubber appear at the top

Hello, I really prefer the scrubber along with the other buttons to appear at the top because I tend to stop the video quite frequently to read the subtitles and the scrubber on the bottom gets really annoying overtime. Also it’ll be nice if it can get thinner or to disappear quicker but I guess that will be a different suggestion. Thanks.

It is pretty overkill on tv’s, I can see how that could get quite annoying. Perhaps at the very least subtitles aren’t blocked by the pause button background fade, and instead float on top of it. +1 (out of votes)

For my personal benefit… what do you mean by “scrubber”? The timeline bar where you can track your progress and jump forward/backward?

Option to display playback controls at top of screen

I watch Japanese shows with hardcoded english subtitles at the bottom of the screen. Every time I pause/unpause, the subtitles get hidden by the playback controls for a few seconds, and I have to rewind a few seconds if I don’t want to miss anything. A simple fix would be to allow the playback controls to be displayed at the top of the screen instead of at the bottom. Can we have an option to do this please?
