Current behavior

Playback Error
An unknown error occurred (4294967283)
Error code: 4294967283

Expected behavior

No error on playback

Tested:

Uninstall and Re-install
Disabled/stopping of all unnecessary applications in case of GPU hold
Previous videos that were playing prior to error, these are no longer able to be played.

Recent Changes:

Updated PMS to 1.24.4.5081, issue appeared several hours after update.

I don’t have any troubleshooting tips to give, but I’ll mention that I have the same issue, and it appears to be client-side only. I can’t watch from the client on my desktop, but my android phone, my laptop, and the web clients all work perfectly fine.

Confirmed same on my side.

Works on IOS, Android, TV, and web. Fails on Plex app for Windows

I Am Having the same Problem. I cant play any music files from the networked server. The local one plays fine but not the networked one. It is happening on both Windows app and Shield Tv. On the shield I can play the local music but not the music on the desktop and vice versa on the Desktop. The windows app on the my laptop wont play from either Plex server. Android app plays fine from Both.

Working for me as well. I am wondering if the issue is on the Plex.tv servers.

Looking at the logs again.

There are a few errors related to user tokens (ERROR - [Web] myPlexAccessToken is not in BasicVolatileStorage), as well as a cross site error (ERROR - [Web] A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at https://plex.tv/ was set without the SameSite attribute.)

These could be just ambiguous errors and a non issue, but weird that they existed.

It is now working on desktop and laptop client. Can play music from both servers. The Shield TV is still not working.

I am experiencing the same issue unkown error occurred 4294967283 with multiple Plex servers. In some cases this occurs rather frequently – after just a few videos.

Environment:
Plex server for Mac: 1.24.4.5081
Plex for Mac: 1.35.1.2632-c6783c78
Mac OS: 11.6
Plex is being used to play local personal video content. No syncing of settings.

Tried the uninstall/re-install suggestions with no success.
